'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1754 Recap - Aired: Wednesday13 April 2016
The owner of the camera Soji has been renting to shoot the movie has come to pay Soji a visit. Soji tells him about the touts and how they damaged the camera.
The guy says Soji has to pay him the sum of 600,000 naira to replace the camera.
Soji is shocked. He says he cannot afford that amount and the guy gets upset. He lets Soji know that he has until the end of next week to pay the money otherwise it will start incurring daily interest.
Maro enters Angela's office. Angela asks her what has been going on. Maro says she doesn't know where to start. Angela says they can start with her boyfriend.
Maro says she has no boyfriend and Angela says they need to find her one like maybe Zane.
Maro says Brenda will kill her if she goes after Zane.
They talk about work and how ‘Room 338’ has been doing well in the European market.
Maro says she doesn't know how Brenda got the former marketers to sign off their rights to movie but she is sure it must have taken a lot for them to do so. This gets Angela thinking.

Soji is with Bimpe and Telema. He has told them about the 600k and Bimpe is not finding it funny. She tells him she knew such a thing was going to happen that was why she tried to prevent him from engaging in any scuffle with the touts.
They argue a little but Telema breaks it up. Telema suggests they raise the funds by opening a page online where the public can make donations. Bimpe doesn’t like the idea. Soji says he is the one who caused the damage and he will bear the cost of replacing the camera alone. Bimpe agrees with him but Telema says they are in it together. Bimpe reluctantly agrees.
Reuben meets Tsav at Ziggy’s. Tsav tells him that despite all that has happened he deserves happiness. Reuben says his cousin Kevin deserved happiness too before Tsav took ‘care of him’.
Tsav says he wants to make it up to him.
Tsav brings up Sheila but Reuben says unless he can make Sheila marry him and have his kids, he doesn't want to talk about her.
In the end they shake hands and Reuben leaves.
Sheila's publisher brings her designs of the book cover. After he leaves, St. John asks Sheila if she asked the publisher to take out the paternity of her siblings. He tells her he has done his part and it is left to her to face the consequences.
Angela comes to Brenda’s office and asks her about ‘Room 338’.
Brenda says it is doing well in Europe and Angela asks how she made it happen.
Brenda says she got a sales agent to help market it but the movie wasn't doing well so she bought back the rights and got another company.
Angela asks where and how she got the money to buy back the rights.
Bimpe is getting frustrated about the money for the camera.
Telema tells her to calm down. She also says they should approach Parita hair, the company Bimpe is a brand ambassador for. Telema doesn’t know Bimpe and Soji’s history with Joan, the CEO.Bimpe flares up and tells Telema to forget about the idea.
Angela asks Brenda again about where she got the funds. Brenda says it doesn't matter where she got the money. Angela asks if she resorted to blackmail because she knows what Brenda can get up to.
Brenda gets upset and says she's done with the conversation. She says Angela was having fun on vacation and she stayed back to keep the company afloat so she has no right to question her.
Coach meets with Tsav by the roadside and tells him that the vigilante have lifted the bounty on Yahimba's head but they still want her and anyone found with her is fair game as well.
Amaka calls Angela to welcome her back. They chat briefly about work and plan to hook up when they have the time.
Yaya goes to meet Philip at work. He is surprised to see her. She tells him she has missed him and then starts to undo his buttons in a rush. Philip tries to protest but he soon gives in. As they start kissing, Laide walks in. She excuses herself and leaves.
Yaya wants to continue but Philip tells her the moment is gone.
Telema goes to see Joan and she tells her about the movie and their need for funds. She also tells her the film is already generating a buzz online and amongst marketers.
Joan says she likes the idea but she will come to a conclusion only after meeting Telema’s partners, Soji and Bimpe.
Philip asks Yaya what's wrong because he doesn't understand her behaviour.
She says she wants sex with her husband and they begin to argue. There’s a knock on the door and he tells Laide to come in.
Yaya leaves in anger.
