'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1767 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 3 May 2016

Telema and Bimpe are at home. Bimpe has a hangover.
She tells Telema about the meeting with Bash and the sleazy producer, Cassius.
Telema is happy that Bimpe dealt with him.
She says she got them an appointment with another distributor.
Bimpe is impressed.


Telema tells Bimpe that they need to get to the appointment early so people can take them seriously.
Bimpe shows Telema a photograph in a magazine.
She says the man in the photograph is a talent agent form the US, he's Nigerian and he wants to come back home and set up shop.
Telema says she is sceptical about people who go abroad then come back because they always have stories.
Bimpe says not everyone's story is like hers. Telema gives her a look so she apologizes.


Philip comes back home and Yaya hides the number she had been copying from the internet.
He gives her the suya he got for her and she gets him a drink.
She asks how his day went.
He tells her about the meeting and how it was suggested that she shouldn't come to the premiere.
She says she won't go to the premiere and he says she is his wife.
She says it is best she doesn't go.


Philip is on the phone with Amaka. He tells her that Yaya won't be attending the premiere.
He also tells her about the plan to write love letters and pass them off  as Fred's letters, to promote the movie.
She says it sounds like forgery.


Nnenna tells Odum to come and see what she is reading online.
He says he's not interested.
She tells him that Alhaji Abubakar is dead.
Odum is shocked.
Mimi and Maro join them and they are equally surprised.


Telema, Soji and Bimpe have a meeting with a movie distributor at Ziggy;s.
He tells them his plans and they are excited till he asks them how much they are willing to put into the distribution.
They were not expecting that.
He tells them their movie is a risk and they have to make some commitment to it.
They ask him how much and he says like 1.5million.
They three of them laugh and immediately leave him alone at the table while they go to sit at the bar.


Philip has a press briefing and the reporters focus on Tsav's issues instead of the movie.
He tells them Tsav is not involved in the movie and he tries to steer them back to the movie.
The stay on track for a bit but veer off again, asking about the Guardias.
Philip gets upset and leaves them.
Mimi and Nnenna discuss Alhaji 's death and how Angela must be feeling.
Angela walks in and they commiserate with her.
They how she’s doing and  she says she is ok now.


Brenda enters Angela's office and asks how she is.
Angela says she's fine.
Brenda keeps fussing, over her, asking if she wants tea or pastries.
Angela says she is fine.
Brenda starts to brief her about work but then Angela asks if she has heard from Zane.
Brenda says she hasn't seen or heard from him since.
Angela wants to continue talking but Brenda gives the excuse of Kwame cryimg, then she runs off.


Tesa is with Yaya.They talk about Tsav and his situation.
Yaya tells her that Nelson is not her father.
Tessa is shocked.
She studies Yaya then asks her if she's alright.
Yaya says there's a friend of hers who thinks she might be pregnant with a baby and doesn’t know what to do.
Tessa smiles and says Yaya seems very worried about this friend.


Soji, Telema and Bimpe are at Ziggy’s again.
They keep complaining about the distributor.
Harriet comes in and says she wants to help them.
She says she just came out of a meeting and everyone was raving about the movie ‘Woman on Fire’.
They ask her what they were saying. She says they were all commending Bimpe; they feel she made the movie and they weren’t even concerned about the other aspects.
Telema and Soji do not find it funny but Bimpe basks in it.


Brenda gets a surprise call from Fabian. He tells her he wants his money and she laughs at him.
He threatens her but she calls his bluff.


Tessa asks Yaya how far along the friend is.
Yaya says about 6 to 8weeks
Tessa says she can still take pills to terminate the pregnancy.
Yaya asks if she knows where such pills can be got and Tessa says she doesn’t know but she can travel to a country where it is legal to have abortions.
She continues to study Yaya then she tells her to drop the act because she knows there is no pregnant friend and it is indeed Yaya that is pregnant.

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1765 Recap - Aired: Friday 29 April 2016

Chuks is talking to Bimpe on the phone. They make arrangements for a surprise party for Ene.
Ene comes in and asks him what surprise party he is planning.
Chuks is shocked that she knows. He asks who told her.
She calls him the worst surprise party planner; he accidentally included her number when he was sending out the invitations.
She gives him a kiss and calls him a sweetheart.


Sankey asks Angela what she means.
Angela says since Sankey has refused to help, she will do it herself.
Sankey says she hopes she won't do anything stupid.
Angela says her doing something stupid will only mean she believes he is dead but she has no proof now.
Sankey tries to convince her that Masters really is dead.
Angela gets up and says she has a lot to do and Sankey can see herself out
.
She walks out if the office.


Chuks Ene and Amara enter Ziggy's and everyone shouts “Surprise”
Chuks tells then she already knows.
Bimpe says she will  miss Ene; who will she be disturbing with her wahala now.
Ohakanu comes in uninvited and immediately raches for booze.


Cosmo is in the living room. He hears a sound coming from inside the house and wants to go and see when Amaka enters the living room .
He asks if she left something inside and she makes up an excuse of going to see the floor because she likes the pattern.
She also says that she left her ring.
They hear Sheila's car horn and Cosmo goes to get the gate.


Sheila comes in and Amaka asks her how it went with the ICC agent.
Sheila says they just had a few more questions and she answered.
Amaka says she is worried about Tsav and she asks if Sheila knows anything about diamonds.
Sheila is surprised and asks if Tsav still has them. She says Yahimba has been chasing after them for a while; the diamonds are covered in blood and if Tsav has them then she doesn't want anything to do with him.
Cosmo brings Amaka her ring.


Maro brings Kwame to Brenda in the office.
Brenda says she may need her to come and pick him up later if he gets fussy.
Maro says she has al lot to do , she has some unfinished work and even Mimi has been breathing down her neck.
Brenda raises her voice, saying “and so?”,  then she checks herself. She thanks Maro for all her help and says she can go ahead and finish her work.


Philip takes Yaya to a restaurant. She thanks him for making an effort and he says he should be doing it more often.
Yaya is uncomfortable and scanning the place for Richard.
Philip asks what she is looking for and she says she’s looking for the waiter.


Next day, Angela gets to work..
Nnenna comes in to ask for her help with her pitch for the world movies’ film.
Angela gets upset and asks who is watching her desk.
Nnenna apologises and leaves.
Angela gets a call from Sankey asking her to come to the station.


Yaya is now relaxed and laughing with Philip, as they enjoy their meal.
She asks for more wine and Philip says she had two bottles already.
 The waiter comes and Philip dismisses him but she tells him she wants more. The waiter pours it and she begins to act like she’s tipsy.
Philip is embarrassed by her behaviour.


At the Police station, Sankey brings Masters' sword out of a polythene bag and says they found it next to his body.
Angela breaks down in tears then rushes out of the station.


Ene's father comes to the house as she is packing up her things.
He tells her to hurry up as Amara is already in the car.
Ene says she is looking for one of her tops and wants to check if it is in the car. She runs outside, leaving Chuks and her father alone.
Chief Obi tells Chuks not to take Ene's departure as a licence to misbehave because he will have his eyes on him.
Ene comes back inside, she found what she was looking for so she packs her things and they leave.


Philip helps Yaya into the house and complains about her being drunk before noon.
He tells her that he needs to get back to work and she grabs him tight telling him not to go.
She starts to ramble about being this way because she has a secret she can't tell him and she's drowning.
Philip asks her what secrets but she has already passed out.


Angela barges into Brenda's office and tells her Masters is dead because of her (Brenda).
Brenda tries to hold  her but Angela doesn’t allow it.

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1762 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 26 April 2016

Chuks takes his bag to Soji’s place. Soji is already in bed.
Chuks complains about his in-laws meddling in his marital affairs.
Soji asks if he wants something to eat and Chuks makes his way to the kitchen.
He is still complaining in the kitchen but Soji is not listening.
He comes back to the main room and continues talking to Soji who is fast asleep.



Brenda and Zane are still in an embrace.  He kisses her and she says she will miss him.
He gives her one last kiss then leaves.
Brenda turns to walk back to the office and she comes face to face with Angela.
Angela says Brenda and Zane are pretty close.
Brenda tries to downplay it but she is doing a poor job of keeping her nerves in check.
She says they became friends but he's gone now
Angela says Sankey warned her about Zane.
Brenda says there should be no reason for that because there is no connection between Angela and  Zane. She says that Sankey sometimes just blabs so she won't take it seriously.
She walks away and Angela looks at her like she didn’t buy anything Brenda just said.

Soji wakes Chuks up in the morning. Chuks doesn’t respond at first and Soji has to really shake him and yell.
Chuks wakes up with an obvious hangover.
Soji asks him what happened last night. Chuks says he had just a few drinks.
Soji tells him he now has a hangover and the next time he wants to go drinking, he should call him so as to keep him in check.
Chuks looks at his phone and he’s surprised to see a lot of missed calls from Ene and her father.
There is a knock on the door and Ene's father walks in, not smiling at all.
He asks why Chuks is not at home with his wife and child.


Caeser continues to torture Tsav. Tsav asks if Yahimba lived to see another day. Caeser says it shows he still cares about her so he must give him what he needs or he will blow her brains out.
Tsav says he can do whatever he likes.
Caeser says maybe he should go after his sisters then. Tsav repeats he can do whatever he wants, then he reminds him that he is in control because Caeser wants something from him.
That earned him a punch.


Amaka is at Sheila's. She tells Sheila she went to the police station but they practically accused her of being Tsav's accomplice and they think this is all part of a plan to help him escape.
Sheila says it does sound like something Tsav would do.
Amaka is upset. For once she is playing the role of Tsav’s advocate. She says she was there and he was really kidnapped; she knows he has done a lot of shady things in the past but this time is different.
Sheila asks why she is so sure but before she could answer, the ICC agents come in.
The female agent tells Sheila that they came with a search warrant to search the premises for Tsav or anything that can lead them to Tsav.


Angela is at work, worried. Brenda asks her what is wrong and Angela says Masters didn't come back home and his phone is switched off. She knows something is wrong.
Brenda tells her to calm down.
Angela asks if Brenda thinks he left her.

Chuks starts his usual stammer whenever he is facing his angry father-in-law.  He father-in-law says when Chuks called him last night, he didn’t sound evasive like he’s doing now.. He accuses Soji of allowing his friend call to tell him such things.
Soji is confused as he has no clue what the man is talking about.
The father-in-law says Chuks called and accused him of interfering in his marriage; he even said he could come and collect his daughter.
Chuks say he can explain.
The father-in-law brings out a note and hands to Chuks saying that is the bride price he paid so he can have it back.
Chuks develops a backbone and says he can't collect it as all protocols must be observed; it wasn’t just him who paid the bride price, his family paid.
The father seems slightly impressed, he says Chuks is now “getting small small sense” and he will wait to hear from his family.


The agents finish searching the house and say they found nothing. They say they want to take Sheila in for questioning.
Sheila says she won't go but they tell her she has no say in the matter and it will only take an hour.
She asks Amaka to come with her. Amaka says she has something to take care of but will join her at the station later


Sankey comes to meet Brenda at work
Brenda tries to play it cool but Sankey asks of her bodyguard
Brenda says she doesn't have a bodyguard anymore and Zane no longer works with her.
Sankey says she told her not to let him out of her sight
Brenda says she also said he was dangerous and she couldn't hold him down when he wanted to leave.
Sankey says she needs to question him as there was an accident and he may know something about it.
She also says there's something she needs to tell Angela and she will need some comforting afterwards.


The agent finishes questioning Sheila at the station. Yaya comes in to see her and Sheila tells her they are beginning to think Tsav planned the kidnap. Yaya doesn’t believe it.
Philip also comes in and they all leave the station.


Soji tells Chuks that alcohol has done some damage to him.
Chuks checks his phone sees the time he spent on the call to his father-in-law was 26minutes.  He starts to lament that he must have said a lot of things on the call.
Soji says they have to do some damage control.


Laide is in Amaka’s office. She asks Amaka if she knows why Philip had to us rush away. He got a call that had to do with Yaya and he dashed away.
Amaka says she has no idea. Laide just wants to do gbeborun.
Laide leaves the office and Amaka locks the door, takes out the diamonds from her bag and locks them up  in her office drawer.

Sankey and Brenda enter Angela's office, looking sober.
Sankey says they need to talk. She asks if Masters has been found.
Sankey says they found his car and his body was burnt.
Angela laughs and says that’s not his body. She asks to see it and Sankey says it was burnt beyond recognition
Angela continues laughing. She says they're talking like they don't know Masters. She tells them that that is not his body.
She laughs and leaves them in her office, looking confused. I hope the laughter is her really believing he can't be dead and not a ressurection of Angelique.

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1760 Recap - Aired: Thursday 21 April 2016

Frank enters Soji's studio. He greets him but Soji tells him to go back and tell Bimpe that he has made up his mind and he's not going back on it.
Frank tells him to calm down but Soji flares up and says Frank shouldn't tell him to calm down because all of them are equally guilty, they knew the character ‘Ricardo’ was about him but didn't let him know.
Frank said they gave him hints but he never clued in on them.



Yaya tells Philip she can explain.  He says “explain that Tsav was kidnapped?”. She quickly recovers and says she was going to tell him. He hugs her and she looks at Richard who gives her a knowing look right back.


Masters takes off the handcuffs and calls Angela. She is panicking already. He tells her he loves her. She wants to know where he is.  She tells him to come and meet her at work and he tells her to stay put and everything will be fine eventually. She tries to ask him what he means but he hangs up.
He calls Sankey and tells her that Zane and Harmony are the ones who've been trying to kill him. He tells her to meet him at the old farmer’s warehouse.
When he hangs up,  he starts to pour petrol from a jerry can around the shack then he puts his walking stick in Harmony's hand.

Frank goes back to tell Bimpe that Soji almost gave him a whopping. Telema says they have to cancel the screening they had scheduled for tomorrow because Soji is refusing to release the files.
Bimpe is in obvious distress.


Philip leaves the room to get something and Yaya faces Richard.  She asks if he's out of his mind. He says he didn't hear from her so he panicked but she has nothing to worry about.
Philip comes back in and they stop talking.


Angela enters Brenda's office and tells her Masters called and told her to stay put.  Brenda assures her that Masters can take care of himself.


Telema calls Soji.  He is still upset.  She begs him not to let his anger make him do something stupid; if he deletes the files he won't be hurting only Bimpe but her and everyone else who worked on the movie.
Soji says noone is thinking if he's hurting too. She continues to beg but he counters everything she says and hangs up.

St. John asks Sheila if she's heard any news. She says she hasn't but she heard from Amaka; she wasn't able to find anything in her office but she will check the house. She tells him Reuben was around to see her and St. John is impressed.

Masters finishes pouring the petrol and gets out the lighter he held yesterday.  Zane enters with a gun. Masters tells him to drop the gun or he will set harmony on Fire. Zane drops the gun.


Joanne comes to see Soji at home. She says Soji hurt Bimpe and he knows it so he should just drop the attitude and do right by the people.  She tells him to grow up and that she knows somewhere inside him lies a man.
Soji is quiet, pondering over her words.


Tsav has been tortured, he is bleeding from the nose but he still won't tell them what they want to hear.
He gloats at Caeser and his mum tells him to stop talking.  She tries to beg Ceaser but Tsav tells her to leave him alone.  Ceaser asks Tsav if he's ready to talk. Tsav laughs.
Ceaser leaves them to talk.
Yahimba asks Tsav where he kept them.  Tsav says he's done with that life and wants to know when she would be done.
Ceaser comes back and says if Tsav won't talk, he will hand Yahimba over to the vigilante.

Masters asks Zane if Brenda was working with him.
Zane says for a man of few words he was talking too much. Masters takes the lighter and sets Harmony on Fire.
Zane rushes for the gun and Masters mimics his movement.  We hear two gunshots then Zane comes running out of the burning container.

Could Masters finally be dead??????

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1759 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 20 April 2016

Soji comes to meet Bimpe at home. Telema sees the mood he is in and promptly makes an exit.
Soji accuses Bimpe of basing the character, Ricardo, on him and telling lies about him to further her career.
Bimpe says she didn't lie and he tells her that she exaggerated the character because Ricardo cheated on his fiancée with many women and left her at the altar. he cheated on Bimpe with only Joanne.
She says it's not different from what happened.
He tells her he will make sure the movie doesn't see the light of day.




Sankey enters Brenda's office and asks for Zane saying she wants to ask him questions.
Brenda says she doesn’t know where he is because he stopped working for her.
Sankey asks for his number and Brenda gives it to her.
Sankey says Angela’s life may be in danger.


Ene and Telema are with Bimpe at home. She tells them all that transpired between her and Soji.
Ene is shocked Soji didn't know all along that the character was based on him.
Bimpe begins to panic.
Telema and Ene assure her that all will be well as they will talk to Soji.


Amaka comes to see Sheila at home. She tells her about the meeting with Coach then shows her shows her the letter from Tsav.
Amaka asks if she knows what he is talking about but Sheila is not sure.
St. John says Tsav wants Amaka to figure it out on her own.


Sankey is at Angela’s house. She asks of about  Masters and Angela says he was supposed to be home but he is not back.
Sankey says their lives are in danger and when he gets back she would like to talk with him.
Angela asks Sankey what is going on but Sankey says it’s really nothing and she is just being careful.


Telema comes back home to meet Ene and Bimpe. She tells them that Shalewa sent her a link about an article online. She shows Bimpe the site on her phone. It is an article on the Bimji affair.
Harriet wrote the article and quoted Bimpe as saying very malicious things about Soji.
Telema asks Bimpe if she really said all those things about Soji.
Bimpe looks guilty. She says she did when Harriet was disturbing her for a story on Telema; she just wanted Harriet off her back and didn’t know she would use it.

Bimpe calls Harriet and insults her then threatens to sue. Harriet laughs at her.
Bimpe is almost in tears as she sees the matter is trending online.


Reuben comes to see Sheila at home. He says St. John called him. She gives him an update on the kidnap issue and says she didn't expect to see him.
Reuben says he thinks Tsav has changed and inspite of everything, Tsav loves her and looks out for her.


Masters drives the car to the bush and parks. Harmony orders him out of the car and leads him into a shack.
He orders him to sit down then gives him a handcuff. Masters handcuff his hands together.
Harmony starts to talk but Masters is taking in his surroundings.
He asks Harmony for the rest of the team and Harmony says he will get to know soon.


Brenda is pretty nervous in the office.
She calls Angela and asks if Sankey spoke to her. Angela says she did and she hasn’t seen Masters. Brenda asks if she knows where he is and she says she doesn't.
Brenda says she is sorry. Angela asks why and Brenda says the police trouble never seems to end.



Amaka is turning her office upside down looking for whatever Tsav might have left there. Fumi comes in to call her for a meeting with Philip but she tells her to let him know she is busy.

Ene and Telema encourage Bimpe to answer Soji’s call. She says she doesn’t know what he is going to say and they tell her she can’t ignore him forever.
She answers the call and he tells her that what she did with the movie wasn’t enough, she had to go and talk to the tabloids too.
Bimpe says she forgot about the things she said to Harriet and didn’t think she would use them.
She tells him that they should try and work it out but he tells her he is deleting all the files for the movie. She tries to protest but he hangs up on her.
Bimpe is in major panic mode.


Harmony is trying to call Zane but he is not getting any response. Masters starts to wind him up by saying his team doesn’t seem to have faith in him; they don’t think he can do the job.
Harmony moves close to him and points the gun in his face, telling him to shut up.
He turns away briefly to focus on his phone and Masters strikes.
He hits the gun away and uses the handcuff to grab Harmony by the neck till he passes out.
He searches his pocket and takes out the keys to the handcuff. He finds a cigarette lighter in the pocket also and holds it, looking as though he recognises it from somewhere.

Yaya gets home and meets Richard sitting with Philip in the living room. Philip gets up and tells her he was just having an interesting conversation with Richard. His face doesn’t give anything away.

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1758 Recap - Aired: Tuesday19 April 2016

Soji is working at home on is laptop when Chuks comes to visit, bringing alcohol with him.
They chat for a bit then Soji asks about the interview the cast of the movie is supposed to have with Peju.
Chuks tells him the interview would be shown live on the website.
They open the site and watch.


Tsav tells Yahimba that he thought she was in danger. She says after all this time he doesn't trust that she will have everything in control.
He asks why he is there and she says he has something of hers that he took when he got into town.




Bimpe, Telema, Frank and Shalewa are on Peju’s set to record the interview.
Peju asks Bimoe how it feels to produce a movie. Bimpe ignores the sarcastic tone Peju used and says it was an awesome experience.
Peju says it goes to show that one can never be too broke (Telema) Talentless (Bimpe)and too naive (Shalewa) to make a movie.

Angela tells Brenda she will be leaving early so if she needs her for anything, now is the time. Brenda says she needs her for something and she will bring it by her office shortly.
Amake, Sheila and St. John are at the police station. Yaya joins them and Sheila breaks the news about Tsav to her.
Yaya’s phone rings. She answers the call and tells the caller she is not ready for sick games because her brother has been kidnapped.
Sankey enters the station. She asks for the report on the case and tells them to follow her.

Peju asks Frank about his character in the movie and he says he got inspiration from the person the character he played, is based on.
Bimpe coughs to give him a sign but he just keeps a silly grin on his face.
Peju says he brought an interesting angle, so she asks him who the character is based on and how does he get his inspiration.
Frank, wearing the same grin, tells her that he just talks to Soji before his scenes.


Peju asks Bimpe if Ricardo is really Soji and she says when writing the script, snippets of her real life came to play.
Peju, of course didn’t let it slide. She tells her viewers that they need to watch the movie so as to see
how the love story plays out.

Brenda runs with a stack of files to Angela's office. Angela says she already took care of them.
Brenda says she has more but Angela says she has to leave and that Brenda can bring them later to her at home.
Brenda calls Zane to let him know Angela is on her way.

Sankey asks who they think may have abducted Tsav and they say they don’t know. She gets sarcastic and asks if Tsav doesn’t have enemies or people he has offended that might want him.
Sheila says maybe the vigilante or Yahimba.

Angela walks into the office reception and the staff  scream “surprise!” She asks them why and they say it's to welcome her back, Brenda put it together.
Brenda arranged it all in a last ditch effort to keep her longer in the office.
Angela thanks them and is about to leave again but Brenda tells her there is cake. She cuts a large piece for her and tells her to eat.


Sankey shows Segun a photograph and said one of the guys they took down in the past with Masters, looks like Zane. She says the guy is not him but may be his brother so they have to invite Zane to the Station for questioning.

Amaka is walking to her car when she gets accosted by Coach She tells him Tsav was kidnapped and he say he knows.
She asks if he had anything to do with it. He says he doesn’t but he saw the whole thing happen.
 He thinks it's the vigilante. She tells him to come with her and give the information to the police. He says he doesn’t want to talk to the police but he saw the car Tsav was taken away in and will do some digging on his own.


Chuks asks  Soji why he is upset. Soji ask him if he didn’t watch the interview, he just found out that the stupid character in the movie, Ricardo, was written about him.
Chuks is surprised Soji is just figuring it out. He says everyone knew and they thought he did too that was why he was putting all his effort into the movie.
Soji is not finding it funny at all.

Masters gets into his car and Harmony, who was hiding in the back seat, puts a gun to his neck. Matsers is calm he wants to know who Harmony is but Harmony tells him to just follow instructions.
Harmony calls Zane and Zane tells him to take Masters to the agreed venue.


Ceaser tells Tsav to tell them where the stuff is. Tsav says he will never tell them
Yahimba say he should just accept he has lost and tell “mummy”.
He says he will never tell her,” crazy old witch”.
Ceaser threatens to get physical with Tsav if he doesn’t cooperate.

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1757 Recap - Aired: Monday18 April 2016

The cast and crew of ‘Woman on Fire’ are celebrating at Ziggy’s. Bimpe says they will have a wrap party.
Soji makes a toast to her. He says he didn't believe her in the beginning when she told him she was going to make a movie but now he is very proud of what she has accomplished.
Bimpe thanks everyone for their effort.



Amaka goes to report Tsav’s kidnap at the police station. The policeman she sees hardly looks up from what he is writing to attend to her. She tries to get him to take the issue more seriously but he is unbothered, he tells her he is working on a serious case that involves life and death.
She asks for Sankey and he tells her not to bother calling because Sankey is in a meeting, working on another serious case.


Ohakanu is drunk. He tells Soji he deserves a lot of credit for the role he played in the movie. Soji seems distracted.
Bimpe, who is sitting across from them, asks Soji how many drinks he's had. He tells her not to worry because he will take a car home and not drive.
She asks when he will start editing the movie. He tells her he is fine.

Masters is at the Station with Sankey. He asks her why he is here. She tells him he is in real danger.
He asks her where Fabian is and she says she doesn't know. He says, with sarcasm, that she wants him to have faith in her ability to protect Angela.


Amaka rushes into Sheila's house shouting that they've taken him. Sheila and St. John ask her what happened andshe tells them everything. Sheila starts to make a call. She tells Amaka to call Yaya because and warn her to be careful. She can’t call Yaya herself because she is not speaking to her.


Masters calls Angela on her phone. He tells her to stay at home for a few more days.
She says she's tired of being away from the office. He tells to just stay for a few more days, for him.


Shalewa gives Telema and Bimpe an update on the social media campaign for the movie. Bimpe asks Telema  if she has spoken to Peju about the interviews.
Telema says she has and Peju will interview the lead characters and some members of the crew.
Bimpe tells her to take Soji off the list. Shalewa and Telema ask her why and she says he will be too busy with editing the movie; he won’t have time for an interview.


Yaya calls Philip at work; she says he promised to come home so they could sort out issues.
Philip says he still has work to do. She complains that he is putting work before her again and he tells her they would talk about it later.
He hangs up and she is not happy at all.
She gets a call and she thinks it's Philip calling back, so she starts going off on him but it's Amaka.
Amaka tells her about Tsav.


Amaka gets home tired and worried. She opens her handbag and sees an envelope, she opens it and iit’s a letter from Tsav.
 He apologises for failing and begs for her forgiveness. She looks confused.


Angela goes to the office to tell Brenda that she will be working from home for a few days. Masters wants her home for security reasons.
Brenda tells her she can take the time she needs.


Soji is working on his laptop and drinking coffee. He hears a knock nd opens the door.
Bimpe enters and says she came to check up on him. She asks him some questions concerning the editing of the movie and he tells her he will take care of it.
He asks for her for space when she keeps disturbing him. She moves away from him but sits facing him. He tells her he can't work like that .
She starts asking some more questions and he gets irritated. He opens the door and ushers her out.


Zane calls Brenda. He says it may be the last time she will hear from him. The thing with masters will soon be over and he will leave town.  He says he will make sure nothing happens to Angela.
Brenda says Angela is supposed to stay home with Masters for some days.
Zane says, in that case, he has to act today. He tells her to make sure Angela doesn't leave the office for some time.
She says she will try her best. He tells her she is a good mother and thanks her for everything.
Brenda tears up.


Tsav is taken to the hideout the kidnappers have Yahimba in.
Yahimba doesn't waste anytime in scolding him for going soft and allowing his sisters get to him.

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1755 Recap - Aired: Thursday14 April 2016

Telema comes back home to meet Bimpe sleeping on the sofa.
She wakes her up, excited to give her the news.
Bimpe reluctantly gets up and listens as Telema tells her she has found a solution to their problem, Joanne.
Bimpe flips when she hears the name.She says Telema went against her and Soji’s wish.
Telema says Joanne can help and they need to do what is best for their film.
Bimpe says she doesn't want to have anything to do with Joanne, not after what she did to her.
Telema wants to know what Joanne did to her but Bimpe says she doesn't want to talk about it. Telema is upset and says Bimpe doesn't trust her enough. Bimpe tells her Joanne is the lady who came between her and Soji.

Soji is at Bimpe’s.
Telema says she sent for him because she may have found a way to help with the funds they need.
She drops the name ‘Joan’ and Soji says ‘Lailai!  That she is bad news.
Telema says she knows why. Soji says she now understands where he is coming from.
Bimpe who has been there all along, looking morose,says they need the money so they will go and see her...today.



Philip and Laide are working in his office. He apologizes for what she saw and she says some things are just plain wrong .
He says Yaya is his wife and she reminds him that this is an office.
Philip gets up and walks towards the door. He tells her the meeting is over and ushers her out for being ‘condescending especially after what she did with his father’.


Yaya comes home to meet Sheila and Tsav. Sheila asks if they have  read the advance copy of her book. They say they haven’t had the time.
She tells them she wrote that St. John is her father and both their fathers are unknown.


Soji, Bimpe and Telema are seated in front of Joanne in her office.
She offers them drinks and asks Soji if he still likes his coffee with 2 cubes of sugar.
The tension in the room rose to power 10 after that question.
Soji doesn’t respond.

Joanne says she will like to be a part of the movie but she has her conditions: Parita hair products will be featured in the movie and she also wants Telema.
Telema is confused. Joanne Clarifies; she wants Telema to become the new brand ambassador for Parita Hair, for free, whilst Bimpe steps down.
There’s an uncomfortable silence so she decides to leave them to discuss amongst themselves.

As she leaves, she reminds Soji that they still have personal unfinished business.


Tsav tells Sheila that what she just told them is a lot to take in.
Yaya is upset and says Sheila only thinks about herself. She asks that if it was Sheila’s Dad who was unknown will she release the information.
Tsav tries to placate her but she walks off in anger.


Zane enters Brenda’s office but sees just Angela.  He is about to leave when she stops him. She asks if Brenda is still in danger and he says she isn’t. She asks for the name of the Agency Brenda got him from and he tells her to ask Brenda.


 Laide enters Amaka’s office to report Philip to her.She says she walked in on Philip about to have sex in his office.
Amaka is shocked and wants to know who Philip was with.
Philip enters the office and says he knows Laide would come and tell Amaka.
He tells Amaka that Laide saw him with Yaya.
Amaka is relieved but Laide says it doesn’t matter who the other person was because it is not the right environment for such.
Philip says she should have knocked before coming into his office and since she didn’t, she deserves whatever she saw.
He says henceforth, she will make an appointment with his secretary if she wants to see him.

Telema asks Soji and Bimpe what will happen given Joan’s conditions. Soji says he warned her about Joanne because he knows the kind of person she is, she wouldn’t do anything for free.
Bimpe is quiet. Soji says he won't sell his soul to the devil. He gets up to leave but Telema calls him back and reminds him that he has the biggest stake in the matter considering he owes 600k.
Joanne comes back into the room and Bimpe tells her they will accept her offer.
Joanne immediately writes her a cheque.

Brenda and Zane are coming out of her office when they run into Masters  at the reception. Brenda is startled and stutters her greeting. Zane tells him he has been looking forward to meeting him. He extends his hand for a handshake but Masters ignores it and just nods.
Brenda asks if he has come to see Angela and he says he has. She is not composed at all.

Richard is at the spa with Yaya. She tells him about Sheila and the book. He agrees that Sheila has no right to put the information out there.
He gets up to give her a neck rub.
Sheila starts knocking on the door and Yaya goes into panic mode.

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1754 Recap - Aired: Wednesday13 April 2016

The owner of the camera Soji has been renting to shoot the movie has come to pay Soji a visit. Soji tells him about the touts and how they damaged the camera.
The guy says Soji has to pay him the sum of 600,000 naira to replace the camera.
Soji is shocked. He says he cannot afford that amount and the guy gets upset. He lets Soji know that he has until the end of next week to pay the money otherwise it will start incurring daily interest.




Maro enters Angela's office. Angela asks her what has been going on. Maro says she doesn't know where to start. Angela says they can start with her boyfriend.
Maro says she has no boyfriend and Angela says they need to find her one like maybe Zane.
Maro says Brenda will kill her if she goes after Zane.
They talk about work and how ‘Room 338’ has been doing well in the European market.
Maro says she doesn't know how Brenda got the former marketers to sign off their rights to movie but she is sure it must have taken a lot for them to do so. This gets Angela thinking.
.

Soji is with Bimpe and Telema. He has told them about the 600k and Bimpe is not finding it funny. She tells him she knew such a thing was going to happen that was why she tried to prevent him from engaging in any scuffle with the touts.
They argue a little but Telema breaks it up. Telema suggests they raise the funds by opening a page online where the public can make donations. Bimpe doesn’t like the idea. Soji says he is the one who caused the damage and he will bear the cost of replacing the camera alone. Bimpe agrees with him but Telema says they are in it together. Bimpe reluctantly agrees.


Reuben meets Tsav at Ziggy’s. Tsav tells him that despite all that has happened he deserves happiness. Reuben says his cousin Kevin deserved happiness too before Tsav took ‘care of him’.
Tsav says he wants to make it up to him.
Tsav brings up Sheila but Reuben says unless he can make Sheila marry him and have his kids, he doesn't want to talk about her.
In the end they shake hands and Reuben leaves.


Sheila's publisher brings her designs of the book cover. After he leaves, St. John asks Sheila if she asked the publisher to take out the paternity of her siblings. He tells her he has done his part and it is left to her to face the consequences.

Angela comes to Brenda’s office and asks her about ‘Room 338’.
Brenda says it is doing well in Europe and Angela asks how she made it happen.
Brenda says she got a sales agent to help market it but the movie wasn't doing well so she bought back the rights and got another company.
Angela asks where and how she got the money to buy back the rights.


Bimpe is getting frustrated about the money for the camera.
Telema tells her to calm down. She also says they should approach Parita hair, the company Bimpe is a brand ambassador for. Telema doesn’t know Bimpe and Soji’s history with Joan, the CEO.Bimpe flares up and tells Telema to forget about the idea.


Angela asks Brenda again about where she got the funds. Brenda says it doesn't matter where she got the money. Angela asks if she resorted to blackmail because she knows what Brenda can get up to.
Brenda gets upset and says she's done with the conversation. She says Angela was having fun on vacation and she stayed back to keep the company afloat so she has no right to question her.


Coach meets with Tsav by the roadside and tells him that the vigilante have lifted the bounty on Yahimba's head but they still want her and anyone found with her is fair game as well.


Amaka calls Angela to welcome her back.  They chat briefly about work and plan to hook up when they have the time.


Yaya goes to meet Philip at work. He is surprised to see her. She tells him she has missed him and then starts to undo his buttons in a rush. Philip tries to protest but he soon gives in. As they start kissing, Laide walks in. She excuses herself and leaves.
Yaya wants to continue but Philip tells her the moment is gone.


Telema goes to see Joan and she tells her about the movie and their need for funds. She also tells her the film is already generating a buzz online and amongst marketers.
Joan says she likes the idea but she will come to a conclusion only after meeting Telema’s partners, Soji and Bimpe.


Philip asks Yaya what's wrong because he doesn't understand her behaviour.
She says she wants sex with her husband and they begin to argue. There’s a knock on the door and he tells Laide to come in.
Yaya leaves in anger.

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1753 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 12 April 2016

Bimpe and Frank are at the altar, about to get married. It is a scene for Bimpe’s Movie.
Ohakanu is playing the role of the priest. Bimpe is Anabella, the bride, while Frank is playing the role of Ricardo, the groom.
When its time to take their vows, Ricardo tells Anabella that she is a fool as he doesn’t love her, he loves another lady who is seated in the audience. Anabella breaks down but Ricardo doesn’t budge. The other lady walks up to him and as she tries to kiss him, Frank breaks character and dodges the kiss.

Angela gives  to the Odyssey Pictures’ staff.  They thank her and they begin to chat about what has been going on in her abscence.  Zane’s name is brought up and they tell Angela that he is Brenda’s ‘personal’ body guard and also an eye candy for them.
Angela looks worried and asks if anyone knows what agency Zane belongs to. They tell her they don’t know.

Back in the church, after the scene at the altar wraps, Bimpe is in a corner still crying. Telema goes to console her and Soji teases her by saying it is just a scene for a movie, she shouldn’t be so emotional.
Bimpe walks way in anger. Frank tells Soji that he (Soji) doesn’t get it.
Soji looks like he finally gets it. Bimpe is emotional because the movie is actually about her life. She was supposed to get married to Soji but he cheated on her.

Philip goes to meet Dikibo, to try and dissuade him from giving Laide a permanent position at Reel.
Dikibo insists that he wants her there. Philip says she is trouble.
Dikibo starts to list the things she had done for Reel and why she must stay on the team.
Tsav meets St. John by the swimming pool at Sheila’s. They chat about Sheila and Reuben briefly. St. John says it seems they have ended their relationship.
Tsav says he is trying to find Yahimba and St.John says he is putting his life in danger. Tsav says he wants to find her and hand her over to the police himself. If the vigilante get a hold of her, they won’t spare her.

The next scene of the movie is outside the church, on the street. Anabella is chasing after Ricardo and the lady he says he loves. Anabella is begging him.
 Some touts standing on the side of the road see them and decide to go and confront them.

Yaya is at the bar in Sheila’s house, drowning her sorrows in alcohol. Sheila comes to her and they talk about the spa. Yaya says she can go to the spa and look around then come up with some ideas on how to improve the place.

Sankey enters Angela's office. Angela is excited but Sankey tells her she just upped and left town without saying anything.
Angela says she was ok. She was with Masters.
Sankey asks if Masters is back in town.
She asks Angela the details concerning the day she got shot. Angela says she doesn't really remember.
Sankey reminds her of the text message she sent saying it was Fabian. Angela says her memory is very vague.
Sankey tells her about the tongue found in her office. She says there are people who want Masters dead.
Sankey also tells her things seem to have calmed down lately. She says maybe Brenda's man scared them away.
Angela is confused. She asks Sankey if Zane is Brenda’s man. Sankey says that’s what the blogs are saying.

Philip goes to Amaka's office to give her feedback on his meeting with Dikibo.
He says he thinks Dikibo is getting power drunk after become a majority shareholder.

The touts tell Soji they will need to pay tax before shooting a movie in their area. A fight between ensues between Soji and the men. Bimpe and the others try to get Soji to calm down but he doesn’t listen.

Angela goes to visit Brenda at home. She asks after Kwame and says she's sorry she put them in harm’s way. Brenda says they are fine.
She briefs Angela about Odyssey’s current project, ‘Room 338’ and Amaka's departure.
Angela says Brenda seems to have taken Amaka’s departure well. Brenda says she was upset at first but it seems she’s getting more mature and doesn’t want to hold any grudges.

Yaya goes to the hospital to collect her test result. The nurse congratulates her.
Yaya starts to cry. She asks the nurse to carry out another test. The nurse tells her that the result will be the same.

'Tinsel' Season 8 Episode 1752 Recap - Aired: Monday 11 April 2016

A quick recap of Friday's Episode

Richard goes to Philip's office and gives him herbal tea to give to Sheila whom Yaya said has a cold. Philip says he's not aware that Sheila is ill but he will take it to her anyways.

Yaya complains to Sheila about feeling very tired. Sheila teases her about a possible pregnancy but Yaya says there's no chance of that being the case.

Zane meets up with Brenda in her office to complain that she has been avoiding him because she doesn't want to give him an answer to what he asked of her (To keep his secret and not to tell Angela that they are looking for Masters). She agrees she would do it and on his way out, she 'attacks' him with a kiss.

Reuben comes to see Sheila at home. She is happy to see him but he says he still wants what he wants, Marriage and kids. She says she can't marry him and he says he has to move on and never see her again.

Yaya hides in the bathroom to use a pregnancy test kit and it shows double lines, meaning she is
preggers!

Zane is still with Brenda in her office when they get a shocker; Angela Dede walks in.

Monday's Recap

Maami and Bimpe are shooting a scene for Bimpe's movie at Titi Kagbesioye's house.
The scene is about a mum, played by Maami, who wants a big wedding for her daughter. She has bought aso-ebi and is ready to distribute but her daughter, played by Bimpe, wants a small wedding without aso-ebi.
The mother begins to cry when she is unable to have her way, this gets to the daughter and she agrees her mother can give out the aso-ebi.  Shoshanna is also in the scene as the bride-to–be’s personal assistant.


Yaya goes into a hospital to ask for a doctor. She wants to have a blood test to confirm if the result she got from a home kit is accurate. The nurse she meets is very nosy and saucy.
Yaya put her in her place but when she tells Yaya that the result of the test will be available in one hour, Yaya changes her mind and says she will come back to have the test done tomorrow.


Angela is with Brenda in her office, telling her all about her trip. Brenda is uncomfortable; she says maybe Angela should have stayed away longer. Angela says she had fun but got bored and needed to come back.
Brenda says she should have called to say she was coming back.
Angela gives Brenda a giftbag.
Zane surprises them when he walks in with a tray of coffee. He sets it down on the table and as he is walking out, Angela stops him to ask what exactly his job is, around the office.

Zane tells her he's not a staff but he works for Brenda. Brenda says he is..was her bodyguard.
Angela asks if things were so bad that she needed a bodyguard.
Brenda says things got serious. Angela says she hopes things are no longer as serious now that she is back in town with Masters.
This revelation gets Zane's attention. He thinks he probably didn’t hear her clearly so he asks her if Masters is back in town. She confirms it and Brenda looks worried.
 As he wants to ask further questions, Brenda butts in, telling Angela that Zane was just leaving as he doesn’t work for her anymore.
Zane leaves the office reluctantly.


St. John tells Sheila that he has read her unpublished biography and he has some reservations. He asks if she sought Tsav and Yaya’s permission before discussing their paternity in the book.
Sheila says she’s telling the truth in her book. He tells her the issue of their paternity is delicate and if she is not willing to seek their permission, she should just take it out of the book.


Telema, Bimpe and Ene are at Ziggy's discussing the movie project over drinks. They seem to be having a nice time till Harriet drops by. Telema and Ene immediately get up and leave the table.
Bimpe remains seated and as soon as Harriet brings up the issue about their movie, Bimpe let's her know she is the executive producer of the movie. Harriet tells her it is not easy to make a movie as it involves a huge budget. Bimpe tells her she has a few friends helping out. Harriet continues to sound doubtful but Bimpe shuts her up by telling her to help promote the movie. Then she walks away.


Amaka meets Philip in his office. She says she has issues with Laide working in the office long -term. Philip agrees with her. He says he will talk to Dr. Gyang and Dikibo, who came up with the idea and  get them to change their mind.


Zane goes back to Brenda's office. He asks if she was able to get any information about Masters. She says Angela is just getting into town and she hasn’t had the time. He says he hopes she's not going back on their agreement.
Angela walks in and he leaves the office.
Brenda says Angela should have called before coming back into the country because the coast is not clear yet. Angela asks if she's referring to Fabian. Brenda says it’s not just him, a tongue was found in her office and there are some dangerous people after Masters, she needs to lie low so she doesn't get hurt.
Angela says she can't stop living her life because of Masters, he should clean up his own mess.


Coach meets up with Tsav and starts to apologise all over again for ratting out his family. Tsav says he is over it and just wants information on his mother. Coach says he has tried but can't find her. It seems she disappeared into thin air.
Tsav tells him to find the vigilante group instead. They may be able to lead them to Yahimba.

Chuks is in Bimpes apartment while she tries the wedding dress he made for her character in the movie. Telema asks him to make the waist a bit lose because it is too tight. Bimpe says it is OK because the bride has to look ‘snatched’ on her wedding day.
Chuks runs his big mouth again by saying it is a good thing Soji didn’t take Bimpe to the altar because it would have been terrible to be left at the altar looking as beautiful as she does in a wedding dress.


Brenda enters her house and as she tries to close her door, Zane comes in. She asks why he is following her around and he says she still needs protection.
He tells her he knows things are crazy but he still cares about her. He asks if she cares about him and she says she does.
He then asks why she didn’t tell him that Angela was back in town. Brenda tells him Angela just got back today and she didn’t know she was coming.


Yaya drives to Sheila's house and sees Richard in the driveway. She asks why he is there and he says she lied to him, Philip didn't know Sheila was sick when he went to his office.
She is surprised that Richard went to see Philip. She says she is sorry but he says she he will be even sorrier when he shows Philip all their text messages and pictures.  She pleads with him and tells him he can come and see her tomorrow but he says he’s done coming to see her, it is her turn to come and see him and she must do that within 24 hours or he will show Philip everything.
