Tara is playing with Advitya on the bed. She decides to go and get him some milk.
As soon as she leaves the room, Laali rushes in and drops an onion beside him.
Tara comes back and touches him, noting his fever is really high. She calls for Babho and Brajesh.
Laali says he can't be healed by a hospital because the problem is spiritual. Someone cast an evil eye on him.
She moves her hand with some chilli pepper around Tara and Advitya several times and says the fever will come down.
Brajesh says he doesn't believe in that. He calls a doctor on the phone. The doctor says he is unavailable at the moment but they should keep giving him the drugs.
When Brajesh leaves, Laali says Tara has refused to try her own way. She walks off in anger.
Kshitij goes to meet Brajesh in the office. He gives Brajesh a newspaper and says another business man has committed suicide.
He says he is worried about their supplier because if his business goes down, he may be driven to suicide.
Brajesh says he won't allow it.
Kshitij says they need to buy the supplier’s company. Brajesh seems to be thinking about it and Kshitij says to himself that this will be Brajesh’s downfall.
Tara is still complaining about Advitya’s fever. She wants to take him to the hospital and Saloni says she will go with her.
Aunt Laali comes in and says her method will reveal who is casting the evil eye on Advitya.
Laali hands Tara chilli's and she takes it.
Tara takes the chilli and burns in the fire. Babho and Dheer cover their noses.
Kalika asks Laali about the plan and she says she has taken the onion away so Advitya’s fever will come down.
Tara tells Laali that the chilli didn't smell and Laali says it's because it was spiritual.
She says now that Tara has burned the chilli, Advitya doesn't have a fever anymore.
Tara is very happy that the fever is gone.
Saloni comes in and wants to hold Advitya but Laali says she should leave him with his mother.
She says the evil spirits got a hold of the boy and they don't know where they will come from next.
Babho tells her Tara didn't take the baby out so there is no chance of meeting anyone with evil spirits but Laali says you never know where the spirits will come from.
She says if he didn't leave the house, then it means a family member cursed him.
Tara says Laali is right because the fever is gone.
Saloni asks who in the house can cast an evil eye on Advitya.
Laali says she knows a priest that can tell them who cast the evil spell on him.
Tara says she would like to know.
Saloni and Babho ask Tara why she would have such beliefs. Tara says it's her child so she would go anywhere to find answers.
Later in the day, Brajesh tells Tara that she is educated and he cannot believe she wants to go and see a witch doctor.
She tells him she has to go. He tells her she is not going.
In the middle of the night, Tara sneaks out of her room with Advitya, to go and meet Laali.
Laali takes them to the witch doctor. The doctor tells Tara not to feel at ease because if they don’t treat Advitya, he will keep dangling between life and death.
He says the disease will not be cured by medicine because there's an evil eye cast on him.
He asks if Advitya lives with a woman who just lost her child recently. Tara thinks of Saloni.
Brajesh wakes up to find Tara and Advitya are not in the room.
He goes downstairs, calling her name.
Everyone wakes ups and he tells them. They go to the living room and see Tara who is just coming back with Advitya and Laali.
Saloni tries to hold Advitya but Tara tells her not to hold him again because everything that has been happening to him was caused by her.
Saloni is shocked.
Babho asks Tara why she would say that because Saloni is like his mother.
Tara says he has only one mother and that is her; she doesn't want anyone else calling Saloni his mother.
Veer tries to talk to her but Tara says she doesn't want Saloni or her shadow close to Advitya.
Brajesh tells her not to say anything bad about Saloni.
Tara says Saloni manipulated Advitya into calling her mother.
Nahar tells her he has had enough of her allegations and he won't tolerate it anymore.
Tara says he should talk some sense into his wife; as far as her son is concerned, she will do anything to protect him.
Saloni keeps remembering the things Tara said and she is in tears.
Nahar goes to meet her and she asks him why Tara said such things; she would never wish bad on Advitya.
Nahar says he doesn't believe Tara and noone will believe her.
Saloni's real baby is crying and the woman's husband is complaining. He is drunk as usual and tells her to be quiet.
He takes a spoonfull of his alcohol and offers to the baby but his wife comes just in time and pushes him away.
He says the child is not his daughter because their complexions are different.
Saloni is in tears but has a worried look on her face. She tells Nahar that it is possible that Tara is correct; maybe her misfortune has brought evil and maybe that was why God took her unborn child, maybe she's not worthy of motherhood.
Nahar tells her she can never hurt someone even if she wanted to. Saloni insists it is true and from now on, she will keep away from Advitya.
Brajesh is with Babho asking why his family is going through the storm. Babho tells him that if she had the answers, she would save the family.
Tara is trying to feed Advitya but he is refusing to take his milk. Laali comes in and she says the evil eye is not gone yet and she is sure Saloni will still come.
Saloni walks in and Laali says, “speak of the devil”.
Saloni says she wants to speak to Tara and Tara says she has nothing to say to her.
Saloni says if her presence is causing Advitya harm, then she will keep away from him but she doesn't want it to be a problem between her and Tara.
When Saloni leaves, Laali tells Tara that Saloni is just an actress and she knows that at night she will be circulating the house, trying to get her hands on Advitya.
Tara is still trying to feed Advitya but he refuses to eat. Saloni watches from the doorway, helpless.
Nahar takes food to Saloni but she tells him that Advitya has not eaten all day and she can't eat too.
Advitya is crying on the bed. Saloni runs to the room but goes back to bring Nahar to pick Advitya up.
Nahar picks him up and tells her that he is still crying so she needs to hold him.
Saloni protests and Tara comes. She takes the baby from Nahar and says she will pacify him.
Nahar asks her how she can be so heartless.
Tara says she doesn't want to to discuss it.
Saloni goes back to the room crying and Nahar consoles her.
She says she can never be a mother. Nahar tells her he doesn't need a child, all he needs, is her.
Kalika passes and see them hugging. She says to herself that Saloni will keep crying for the rest of her life.
Laali goes to Tara's room and tells her that some people are always looking for ways to harm her son.
Babho comes into the room and tells Tara that today is day of a ceremony for one of their relative’s grandson and the entire family is going to the ceremony.
Tara says she doesn't want to go. Laali tells her to go and she will look after Advitya.
Tara agrees to leave Advitya with her.
Laali sees Saloni all dressed up and asks if she's going somewhere.
Saloni tells her she is going for a ceremony that is being held for a relative’s grandson.
Laali tells her she shouldn't be attending any events for children.
Saloni is in tears.
The family is ready to attend the event and Nahar is calling for Saloni.
Saloni comes out and tells him she doesn't want to go because she is not feeling well.
Nahar tells her she is hiding something from him and he knows it.
He asks her to tell him the real reason.
Saloni says she doesn't want anyone to blame her for anything that happens to a child.
Nahar says Saloni shouldn't believe the rubbish they are trying to fill her head with.
He says he won't go if she's not going.
Saloni begs him to go so that tongues won't start wagging.
