'Hush' Season 1 Episode 21 Recap - Aired: Monday 2 May 2016

Ntse says her father wasn't in his right frame of mind when the will was drawn up.
The lawyer insists that he was.
He tells her the date it was drafted and if she can cast her mind back, she will remember he was hale, hearty and of a sound mind at the time.
Ntse says Arinola preyed on the man's love for her.
Arinola says she's just as shocked as Ntse is.

Bem asks Tes how he is enjoying the Fashion industry.
Tes says he's finding it ok. He tells his dad to go easy on Adze.
Bem says Adze has to learn.
He asks if Tes and Coco met before they met at the office. Tes says they never met.

Coco is at a bar drinking.  She calls Ike and asks how he is doing.
He is driving, he says he is feeling better but starts to fake-cough.
She asks if he's driving and he lies that he is going to get some drugs and he will talk to her later.

Tes takes call and when he ends it, Nina asks him what his game is.
She says he knows Adze was in trouble with the father but he made him come to work anyways to incur their father's wrath; he just showed up and now Adze is in trouble.
She tells him that she can see through him.

The lawyer apologizes to Arinola but she tells him it's OK. She asks if he's sure about what he read and he says he is.
He hands her an envelope saying Gerald instructed that it be given to only her.

Babatunde Baker asks Oye if Arinola is in the office.
Oye says she's not in and he can leave.
He gets upset and says they have a lot to do and she is not available.
Oye says she had to take care of personal issues and he can leave.
He asks her why she is not with Arinola since she's supposed to be her PA.
They get into a shouting match and Arinola comes in.
She takes Oye into her office and tells her she may be chief Gerald Idongesit’s daughter.
Oye is shocked and Babatunde Baker barges into the office, shouting.
He obviously heard what Arin told Oye.
He says if Arinola is not a Cardoso then it will be a major problem, the opposition will use it against her and she may be disqualified for not being a Lagosian.
He says he will need to inform Chief Lasisi so they can come up with the next line of action.

Tes meet Adze up at their usual bar.  He tells her what his girlfriend accused him of.
Adze is surprised.

Ntse goes back to the lawyer to ask him how much Arinola paid him.
The lawyer says he wasn’t paid anything and Gerald wrote everything himself.
Ntse says there is no evidence to prove or disprove what he said because she will never accept Arinola as her sister.

Bem asks Coco where she has been all day.  She says she was at the mechanic and he tells her they can't be running around at this time; he needs her at work 100 percent of the time.
Coco apologizes.
He is about to leave when he has a second thought .He asks if she has met Tes before, she fidgets and says she hasn't.
He tells her it will be better if she doesn't know him.

Arinola gets home and looks through the envelope the lawyer gave her. It contains a letter and some photographs.
In the letter, Gerald explains how he had impregnated a lady when he was already married, he didn't want his wife to know, so he took  Arin after she was born and gave her to the Cardosos.
The Cardodos are his friends who had tried but couldn't have a child of their own.

Nina gets home and meets Adze. He asks her about Tes.
She says since Tes came, things have gone awry.
They have an argument and she calls him a stupid and naive spoilt brat.
Adze walks away without a word and she tries to apologize.

The brother hood is having their election to determine the new head servant.
The two candidates are Folahan and Bem.
Benson addresses the members.
They begin to cast their votes.

Oye gets  home and tells Coco about Arinola’s discovery.  Coco is not listening.
Oye asks what is wrong and Coco says it is Ike; he has been lying to her that he is not feeling well but she went to his house and his mother says he is perfectly fine.
Oye tells her not to tolerate the rubbish.
There’s a knock on the door and Ike comes in.
She tells him she was at his place and his mum said he had gone to work.
He tells her he didn't tell his mum he was ill so as not to alarm her.
Oye watches them, amused at the blatant lie.
In the end, Coco believes him and apologizes to him.

Benson is reading out the votes. The votes are tied so they have to refer to the concealed vote of the late head servant, as a tie-breaker.
Benson shows the members the envelope containing Gerald’s vote. He tells them it is sealed and has not been opened.
He opens it and reads out the name ... Bem Tsenugo.
Folahan looks like he can kill.
Benson takes off Bem’s robe and puts a new one on him.
He places a ring on Bem’s finger and kisses the ring.
The ther members go up to Bem, one by one and kiss his ring.
Folahan marches out without saying a word to anyone. He doesn’t even congratulate Bem or kiss his ring.
