Ranveer tells Rheka she has made him very happy and she will not regret her decision to allow Udey marry Lamita.
Ranveer’s mother says they shouldn't waste any time in the preparations for the wedding.
The family is getting ready to go and pay Lamita’s family a visit.
Rheka asks Anjana why she isn’t ready yet. Anjana says Udey will be very happy with Rheka for her support and he will never disappoint her.
Rheka brings her a dress to wear. Anjana says it is so nice that she will keep it for the actual wedding instead.
Rheka says that is if there's a wedding.
Anjana looks confused.
Ranveer thanks and hugs Udey for agreeing to the wedding.
The family is gathered together and ready to move.
Rheka says to herself that she cannot wait till the whole thing blows up in their faces.
At Lamita’s house, her uncle, her father and some other men are holding sticks and preparing to go to the Singhs, to have it out with them for bringing shame upon their family.
Lamita stops her uncle, Govinda, who is the leader of the pack and begs him not to go and fight.
He tells her that they are doing it for her
The Singh family arrives at lamita’s house.
They meet the men brandishing their sticks in the driveway and Ranveer gives Jatan, Lamita’s father, a hug.
He tells him he has come to keep his promise
Jatan is happy about this and he asks where Abhay is.
Ranveer tells him that Abhhay is not the groom anymore but Udey.
Govind gets upset and says they can't just change the groom like that.
Jatan tells his brother to calm down
Ranveer’s father speaks calmly to broker peace.
Ranveer appeals to Jatan and Jatan tries to convince his brother.
Govind says they all look happy except for Udey, he will only be satisfied if they ask Udey’s parents, Ranjeet and Rheka, how they feel.
Jatan asks Ranjeet how he feels about the marriage. Ranjeets says he is happy.
Govind asks Rheka the same questions and she says she has no objection.
Ran veer and Jatan hug one another.
Govind asks Udey for a hug.
The ladies in the family are gather around Lamita and give her gifts.
Lamita tries to touch Rheka’s feet as a sign of respect but Rheka tells her it is not necessary.
Grandmother tells Rheka to put some bangles on Lamita.
The men are celebrating together in the living room.
The women join them and Govind suggests they pick a date.
Rheka says they shouldn't rush into the wedding because it needs to be grand and they have to prepare.
Jatan agrees and consults Govind.
Govind asks Rheka how much time she will need, a week or two.
Rheka says she needs at least two months
He hesitates but agrees and they all start laughing again.
Udey is outside talking on his phone. Lamita approaches him and gives him the bangles his mother gave her.
She tells him that he doesn't have to marry her if he doesn't want to, he shouldn't have to ruin the rest of his life.
He tells her that she is wrong, he didn't agree to marry her because of pressure and the gifts were given to her because his family loves her.
She decides to keep the bangles.
They all say their thanks and goodbyes, then the Singh family make their exit.
They get back home and everyone is happy.
Anjana approaches Rheka but Rheka tells her she is tired and not in the mood.
Abhay asks Lisa what she's thinking about.
She says she's thinking about Udey and what he is doing for them.
Udey calls and Abhay asks how he is doing.
Udey says everything is fine and promises to get him and Lisa back into the house.
Lisa wants to know what Udey said. He tells her that Udey and Lamita will be getting married.
Lisa is happy.
Rhama tells Ranveer that she is proud of his choice. Lamita is a nice girl.
Udey comes to their room and apologizes for interrupting them.
Rhama blesses him but he says the blessings are not enough, he wants a nice gift.
Ranveer tells him to ask for anything he wants.
Udey says when the time is right, he will ask for his wedding gift.
In Udey's family's session of the house, Udey’s older brother is upset that Udey wants to marry a girl like Lamita who doesn't fit into their family.
He says when people see her with his wife Anjana, it will be embarrassing.
Anjana asks Rheka where she went earlier. Rheka says her hand accidentally touched Lamita’s when she was giving her the bangles, so she went to wash them.
Anjana’s husband keeps complaining. Ranjeet interrupts him and says that Lamita is a nice girl.
Rheka makes them a promise that the wedding will not take place.
Next day, Rheka rushes out of the house to her car.
Udey sees her trying to sneak off and he asks if he can give her a ride.
She tells him she has to go with the car because she has a lot of errands to run.
Anjana begins to wonder what meeting could be so important for Rheka to sneak off to.
Lamita is walking with a tray in her hands, probably on her way to or from the temple.
Rheka pulls up to her side of the road and tells her to get into the car.
Lamita enters.
Rheka tells her to close the window.
Lamita fusses with the window and Rheka say she will do it for her.
She tells her that she will have to learn all that if she wants to be Udey’s wife.
She begins to drive.
She says Lamita will be her daughter in law so she wants to tell her what Udey likes; they will go to his favourite restaurant and order a cup of tea.
They arrive at the restaurant which is in a clubhouse.
Rheka gets out of the car and tells Lamita to do the same
Lamita struggles with the lock and Rheka gives her instructons on how to open it.
They enter the restaurant and sit.
Rheka tells Lamita that she will have to come to places like this every day if she marries Udey; his friends are all sophisticated.
Rheka’s friend comes to say hello and she introduces her daughter in law.
The daughter in law says she is doing her master’s degree.
Rheka make Lamita hear when she says it is important for daughter in laws to be well educated.
Lamita sits there with her head down, unable to look at them.
Rheka’sfriend looks at Lamita and asks Rheka what she is doing at the club with her maid.
They say their goodbyes and leave.
Lamita begins to cry.
Rheka orders for vegetable noodles then asks Lamita if she wants the same. Lamita doesn't respond because she doesn’t know what it is.
Rheka orders it anyway.
They waiter serves them the noodles and Lamita uses her hands to pick at it.
People are staring and laughing
Rheka shows her a fork and tells her how to use it.
As Lamita is struggling with the fork the people are still laughing.
Rheka tells her she needs to learn all of this because if she does not, she will not be able to hang out with Udey and his friends.
With every word Rheka utters, Lamita dies a little inside.
Rheka carries on talking. She says Udey is very nice and generous. He didn't want Ranveer to be upset so he agreed to marry her.
Udey gets to the clubhouse and runs into his mother's friend who tells him she is there. He is surprised.
Rheka asks Lamita if she really wants to be a big burden to Udey for the rest of his life.
Lamita doesn’t respond but she is crying.
They finish their meal and leave the restaurant.
Udhey gets to the restaurant and a waiter confirms his mother was there but she has left.
Rheka takes Lamita back home.
She tells her to promise she will never tell anyone that they had lunch together at the restaurant.
Lamita agrees.
When Rheka drives off, Lamita is left standing on the spot, looking miserable.
