Saloni meets up with Varum and says there must be another way.
Varum tells her to be strong for Nahar and take care of him because his health will start to deteriorate.
He says he wishes Saloni and Nahar can just tell each other the truth.
She says she will come clean to Nahar but if he wants to keep it from the others, she will allow it.
She is in tears.
Nahar joins them and Saloni pretends Varum was telling her a joke so she starts to laugh.
Varum says he has to go back to work.
He leaves and Nahar asks Saloni what he said.
She says Varum was just talking about their college days.
Kaveri is scolding the houseman for leaving an ugly bag where visitors can see it.
Ambica says it belongs to Mano. Kaveri says she doesn't care.
Mano walks in and doesn't say a word. The usual thing would have been for her to attack Kaveri but she is too sad to say anything.
Saloni comes to visit. She brings food for Mano but Mano says she is not hungry.
Ambica asks Saloni if Nahar let her leave the house with his favourite food.
Mano hears his name and starts to cry. She walks away and Saloni follows her to the room.
She sees Saloni and fakes a smile. They chat about when Saloni was younger.
Saloni asks Mano to bless her and she does.
Saloni hides her tears and Mano does the same.
Savitri is in the temple praying for her daughter.
Her husband appears by her side and she asks what he's doing there
He grabs her hand and tells her to come with him.
They move away from the crowd and as usual, he asks for money.
She says she doesn't have any money to give him.
He says she works for a wealthy family and should have money.
He sees her purse on her waist and tries to take it from her.
Some men approach them and he grabs Sanvri from Savitri. He tells them she's his daughter and the men walk away.
He runs away with the child and stops in front of a moving car. The driver of the car gets out and it is Saloni.
Saloni tells him that he’s ruining the life of Savitri and Sanvri.
He says Sanvri is his child .
Saloni reminds him that he tried to sell the child at a brothel.
She tells him never to come near them again otherwise he will pay with his life.
He tells her that since she's separating him from his wife, the goddess will make sure she is separated from her own husband as well.
Saloni is speechless.
After he leaves, Savitri tells Saloni not to listen to her husband. She praises Nahar and all he is doing for her and her daughter. She prays for long life for him.
At night, Nahar goes to wake a sleeping Babho up. He asks if he can sleep on her lap the way he used to as a child.
She asks if all is well and he says he just feels like being near her.
He puts his head on her lap. He tells her to tell him a story so he can relive his childhood days.
Saloni watches from the doorway.
Nahar takes his drug the next day then turns to see Saloni watching him.
She asks how long he will hide the truth from her.
He feigns ignorance.
She tells him that she knows everything and he will be punished for his mistake.
She hands him his guitar.
He asks how she knew about his guitar.
She takes him outside and Varum is there. She says Varum told her.
Saloni teases Varum about not being married. She talks about finding him a wife and Nahar listens to them quietly.
Manor is crying and praying for Nahar and Saloni.
She begs for hope for Saloni in these dark times.
Nahar berates an employee in the office for shoddy work. Brajesh is surprised at his outburst.
The employee apologises and leaves.
He tells Nahar to be careful with his temper so it doesn't jeopardise his health.
Nahar promises to control his anger.
He tells Brajesh that they keep talking about work and family and it would be nice to go out and do something.
They go to a club and Varum joins them.
They dance and have fun.
Varum gives Nahar a tight hug.
Mano comes to see Nahar. She gives him some books.
She says she went to the temple to pray. He says there's no need and she says she prayed for Saloni; when he's gone, she will be the one to bear the sorrow and the shame of being a widow.
Varum meets Nahar up in an open field. He asks why he called him there.
Nahar says he needs a favour.
He tells Varum to promise not to refuse.
Varum says he will do it. Nahar says he should swear and he swears.
Nahar says he needs Varum to accept Saloni as his wife after his death.
Varum is shocked.
Nahar begs and says he will rest in peace if she's with Varum. He says he cannot leave her as a widow.
Varum says he won't do it because it is not right.
Nahar begs him and says he can't leave Saloni all alone.
Varum says he cannot accept or refuse.
Nahar says it is a final favour that's like a lifeline to him.
Varum, eventually nods and Nahar hugs him.
Babho and Saloni chat about Nahar and Brajesh's childhood.
She says he was fond of horse riding and sword fighting.
Nahar asks them what they're talking about.
Babho tells him.
She tells Saloni that there will be a sword ceremony tomorrow and she should invite her family.
Ambica asks Mano why she wants to attend the temple instead of the sword ceremony.
Kaveri listens from the stairs and wonders why Mano who used to be fiery has become so calm lately.
Saloni calls Ambica and invites them to the ceremony.
Ambica tells her that Mano says she will not come.
Saloni asks to speak to Mano. She begs her to come for the ceremony as they may not all be together again and that Nahar really enjoys her company.
She agrees to come.
The family is ready for the ceremony. Nahar tells them to hurry up so he can take Saloni to the movies afterwards.
Tara and Brajesh tease him about it.
Varum is in attendance. He picks up a sword and Nahar tells him not to hurt himself because doctors only know how to use stethoscopes.
Dheer talks about sword fighting and says Nahar should show his skills.
Nahar says he needs someone to challenge him.
Saloni panics.
Brajesh says Varum should challenge Nahar.
Saloni thinks to herself that she will have to find a way to stop the fight because it might affect Nahar.
Saloni says Nahar will definitely win.
Varum says what if he wins.
Nahar brings out the movie tickets and says if Varum wins, he should take Saloni to the movies.
He hugs Varum and whispers that he wants him to win so he can take Saloni to the movies.
They fight and Nahar begins to get dizzy but he fights back in anger and Varum falls down.
Nahar then falls on the floor and everyone looks scared.
Varum gets up, takes the sword and points it at Nahar’s chest, winning the fight.
Saloni is shocked.
