Anjana follows Rheka to the room.
Rheka says that the most important thing in the world is planning, so that people can do as you say.
Anjana commends Rheka for how she handled Ranveer.
She asks if Ranveer doesn't fall for it, what will Rheka do, since he didn't say anything.
Rheka doesn’t like it when Anjana questions her methods so she tells Anjana that she wants to rest. Anjana gets the message and leaves the room.
Banwari meets Ranveer at the restaurant and tells him everyone has been looking for him.
He says that storming out wasn’t the best thing to do; he knows Ranveer will get Rheka back for what she did and he wants to know what he will say to her.
Ranveer ignores him and leaves the restaurant.
Rhama is worried. She's trying to call Ranveer but his phone is switched off. His mother tells her not to be worried that he will be fine; even as a child Ranveer was quick tempered but he usually calmed down afterwards.
Abhay is swimming in the hotel pool, while Lisa watches him.
Udey comes to see them. Abhay asks how the wedding preparations are coming.
Udey says it is coming along fine.
Abhay says he wishes he can be a part of the preparations for Udey's wedding.
Udey tells him that he will be a part of his wedding just as he (Udey) will be a part of Abhay’s wedding.
Abhay is confused.
Udey tells him that the person who brought the solution to the entire problem is his mum, Rheka.
Rheka told Ranveer that the only way she will allow Udey marry Lumita, is if Ranveer allows Abhay to marry Lisa, on the same day.
Abhay still has his doubts. He says Ranveer will never accept Lisa.
Udey tries to convince him that it will all go well.
Anjana is in the room with her husband. She is checking out her jewellery. She complains that her collection of jewellery is very small.
He tells her that she has enough.
Anjana points out that there will be two weddings.
Her husband says there won't even be one.
She asks what will happen at the wedding and with an evil glint in his eye, he says “lots of drama”.
Ranveer comes back home. Rhama is waiting up for him.
She asks where he has been. He just stares at her without responding.
She begs him to talk to her. He stares.
She carries on talking about how everyone wants Abhay to come home and Rheka meant well by what she said.
He doesn't say a word.
Ranveer goes upstairs he overhears Rheka talking to his mother about his bad attitude.
He goes into the room and sees Rheka and his mother.
Rheka takes a call. She tells the caller to make sure the wedding decorations are properly done.
After the call, she negins to discuss the wedding with her mother in law, knowing this would annoy Ranveer.
Ranveer turns to walk out of the room.
Rheka says she needs him to be a part of the discussions because she wants to know what to buy for his future daughter in law, Lisa.
She makes sure she gets on his last nerves by pointing out how different Lisa is being a non-Indian.
She reminds him that there are two weddings being held at the same time in the same venue.
Ranveer is boiling but he doesn't say anything.
Lisa returns from her shopping and tries to show Abhay what she bought but he is not looking. He is deeply worried.
She tells him she knows what he's thinking about but Udey says their wedding will happen at the same time.
Next day, Ranveer is about to go downstairs, Rheka sees him and begins to discuss the wedding again. She shows the women what she got for Lisa, non-traditional clothes.
She tells Ranveer to come down and join them.
She keeps talking about Lisa being modern and won't follow tradition but Lumita is a village girl that will follow the customs.
Ranveer says he needs to go somewhere.
Jatan is staring at Lumita. He says he just realised his daughter is leaving him to go to her in-laws’ house.
Lumita is about to tear up but he begs her not to.
Their family members arrive; his sister, brother and their families. They troop in and start getting ready.
Udey is being prepared for his healthy ceremony. The ceremony is to bless the wedding couple so that they live a long and healthy life.
Grandmother tells Rheka to apply turmeric on him because it is the duty of the mother.
Rheka applies it on Udey’s face and hands.
They bathe him in milk and honey.
Ranveer calls his mother and says he really has to go, something came up.
She tells him to hurry back.
Rhama looks worried because she knows Ranveer is up to something.
Rheka tells Rhama that Udey is getting ready but what about Abhay. She tells her to go and conduct the healthy ceremony for Abhay at his hotel since he cannot come to the house.
Rhama is worried about going without seeking permission from Ranveer.
Rheka tells her she doesn’t need his permission because the ceremony must be done.
She brings the turmeric and tells Rhama to go to Abhay.
Abhay is teaching Lisa how to wear traditional Indian wear.
Rhama comes in and he rushes to give her a hug.
She hugs Lisa and Abhay reminds her to touch her feet.
Lisa touches Rhama’s feet then moves to the maid that accompanied Rhama, she is about to touch her feet too but the maid jumps back.
Abhay tells her that she doesn’t need to touch the maid’s feet.
She proceeds to apply the turmeric on Abhay’s hands and face.
She asks them to play music. Lisa starts to play pop music.
Abhay tells his mum that Lisa only has western music.
Rhama says it is ok because the two cultures have to blend.
Lisa asks Rhama if Ranveer is still upset since he didn't come with her.
Rhama says the ceremony is only performed only by women.
She applies the turmeric on Lisa as well. When she is done, she hugs them and leaves.
Lumita is having the healthy ceremony done on her too by her aunt. Some ladies dance as the turmeric is being applied.
Lumita’s aunt tries to make her dance but Lumita is not in the mood.
She clings to her dad and they cry together.
Lumita begs him not to cry but he says they are tears of joy.
Lumita tells her aunt and uncle to take care of her father after she gets married because he might feel very lonely.
Her aunt consoles her.
Rheka is on the phone talking to the florist when Ranveer comes back home.
He tells the houseman to tell Rhama to bring him tea. The man says Rhama isn't home.
Ranveer asks where she is and Rheka tells him that Rhama has gone to perform the healthy ceremony for Abhay and Lisa.
Ranveer is upset that Rhama didn't ask for his permission.
Rheka starts to rub it in. She brings up the issue wedding.
She says the two daughters-in-law will come into the house at the same time and they will welcome them together. If they don't enter at the same time, then no one will come in.
Ranveer stares.
