'Hush' Season 1 Episode 20 Recap - Aired: Friday 29 April 2016


Arinola is in her gym hitting a punching bag.
She stops and calls Ntse but the call goes to voicemail.


Ike is outside the house, washing his car. His mother rushes out and grabs him from behind; saying noone will take him from her.
He asks what is going in and she says she had a dream; a snake wrapped around him and the snake had a human face. The face on the snake was Coco's.
She reminds him that her dreams always come true so he has to be very careful.


Nina is trying to cheer Adze up because he looks down. He says he has something to tell her...he didn't create the app alone, he did it will Billz, his friend. but now  they want him to talk about it and it can become very big.
She tells him to run with it.


Oye tells Coco all that happened at the meeting with Chief Lasisi and Babatunde Baker, as they get ready for work.
Coco tells her the guy that has been asking her out is Bem's son.
Oye is surprised that Bem has another son.

Coco calls Ike to ask if he will pick her up for the office.
His mother is watching him so he says he is not feeling too well and won’t be able to come.


Tes calls Adze to ask if he is coming to work. Adze says he isn't.
Tes says she should come so it will show their father that he is serious.


Nina asks Adze what Tes said and he tells her.
She asks if he doesn't find it funny that one minute, Tes is their father's enemy and the next he is back in the house and Adze is the one out.
Adze doesn't take her seriously.


Oye goes to see Ruffy Jackson. She tells him she is no longer Arinola's campaign manager.
Ruffy says he knows Babatunde Baker. He blames Oye for not ebing as aggressive as he used to know her to be.
He asks if his boys should ruffle Babatunde Baker up a bit and she says she doesn’t want that at all.
.

At Tsenugo, Tes is chatting and getting to know the workers.
They are all talking and laughing.
Coco comes in and he apologizes for the noise the workers are making.
She says he can do what he likes.


Nina comes in with Adze.
Coco says she needs to check up on her sick boyfriend, so Adze gives the permission to go.


Folahan asks Benson if it's "done?”.
Benson says it is and then he returns the ring to Folahan.
Benson asks Folahan if he is sure he can fulfil his promise.
Folahan gets upset and tells Benson not to forget his place as he is not number 2 yet.


Coco goes to Ike's house with groceries. She sees his mum and asks her how Ike is feeling.
The mum says he went out and there was no sign of any sickness.
Coco gives her the groceries and leaves.


Nina berates a junior worker for a tacky job.

Tes and Adze are chatting when Bem walks up to them and asks what Adze is doing there.
Adze is dumbfounded.
Tes says he was the one who told him to come.
Bem tells Adze to get out.



Oye is seated in the car with Arinola. Arinola is going for the reading of Gerald’s will.
Oye offers to go with her but Arin tells her not to bother.
She gets in and meets some of Gerald's family members.
The lawyer starts to read the will and Ntse shows up.


Arinola looks at her in shock.
Ntse asks the lawyer what Arinola is doing there.
The lawyer says Arinola is there at Gerald’s request.
Ntse tells Arinola that she managed to get her claws on him, even in death.
Arinola tells her to please drop it and let them get through the reading.


Nina calls Adze.
He tells her his father kicking him out has made him decide to carry on with his life; he launched the app.


Bem meets Folahan at the clubhouse.
They chat a bit about their readiness for the elections happening tonight, to find Gerald’s successor.


The will reading continues. Ntse is named as Gerald’s first biological daughter and he left her half of his estate.
Ntse asks if there is another biological daughter.
The lawyer continues reading "and to my second biological daughter, Arinola, ..."
Arinola is in shock. Ntse is surprised and angry.
The other half of the estate is left to Arinola.
