Saloni goes to visit Nahar in Prison. Nahar has lost hope. He says it is over.
Saloni tells him to have faith in God. He says he takes solace in knowing his family now supports him.
Saloni tells him that there must be some evidence to prove his innocence.
She tells him to tell her what happened one last time.
Nahar tells her again, how he called Kshitij but Kshitij didn't say anything on the call.
Saloni asks what he thinks made Kshitij not speak when he called. She thinks he may have already died before Nahar called
She is now sure she has unravelled the mystery, she gives him the assurance that she will get him out safely.
Kalika goes to Ambica’s house and Ambica tells her to get out.
Kalika says she has come to take her mother.
Ambica says that Shama cannot find a place with her.
Kalika insists that Shama is her mother and she can keep her wherever she wants to.
Kalika threatens to call the police then she begins to dial their number.
Samar holds her hand and tells her to take her mother and forget about them.
Saloni goes back with the new information to see a lawyer. Brajesh is with her.
The lawyer says if they can prove that Kshitij was already dead by the time Nahar called, then Nahar will get out of jail.
He says they will need to get Nahar's phone records and if the call time is after Kshitij's death, as stated on the post mortem, then Nahar will be released.
Saloni,Brajesh and the lawyer go to the phone company to request for the call record. The manager of the company says he can’t just give it to them because it is against company policy.
Brajesh tells him that a man’s life is at stake. The manager still insists that it is against the policy.
Brajesh in a fit of anger, hold the man by the caller and forces him to give in.
The man prints out Nahar’s call records for that day and hands it over.
Brajesh looks through and tells the lawyer that the last call from Nahr’s phone to Kshiti was at 12:35. The lawyer says, according to the post mortem, Kshitij died at 12pm so Nahar could not have been the killer.
It is already late at night and the courts have closed ,so he tells them that they need to rush to the judge's house to request that he grants a stay order for Nahar's release.
They have only a few hours before Nahar is supposed to be executed.
They get to the judge's house but the guards pose a problem. They won’t allow them see the judge.
Brajesh struggles with them till one shoots in the air.
Thie judge comes outside to find out what is going on. They beg him to listen to them but he says he will see them in court tomorrow. They plead that it will be too late but he doesn't listen. He starts to go back into the house.
Saloni pushes her way past the guards and runs after him.
Samar, Ginni and Ambica are in the temple, praying for Nahar. Samar and Ambica are in tears.
The wind blows a newspaper page and it lands on Narpat’s lap. He is sitting outside, under a blanket. H has become a hermit.
He reads the story about Nahar’s impending execution for murder.
The prison guards tell Nahar that it is time for his execution. They take him out of prison and allow him take a shower and get ready.
Brajesh and Saloni are still pleading with the judge to have a change of heart.
Saloni starts to preach about why it is good to be good and how the gods will bless those who do good.
The judge has a change of heart and requests for the stay order.
The lawyer presents it to the judge and he signs it.
The judge tells Saloni to go and get her husband.
Nahar is saying his final prayers with a priest.
A guard comes to tell him that his time is over. Nahar gets up and follows the guard.
Brajesh’s car gets a flat tyre. There is no time to fix it, so they run the remaining distance to the prison, in the rain. Saloni falls down but she quickly gets up and continues the race.
Nahar ‘s head is covered with a black sack and the noose is put around his neck.
Everyone is praying for Nahar at their different locations. Babho, Tara, Ambica, Samar....
Saloni and Brajesh get to the prison and present the stay order.
The warden in charge of the execution gets a phone call and he immediately tells the others to stop.
He tells them that theyhave a stay order on Nahar's death sentence.
Saloni and Brajesh rush in. They see Nahar and run to hug him.
The lawyer tells him that he is lucky.
Babho is asking the goddess what type of mother she is to allow them take her Nahar away.
She starts to hit her head on the pavement.
Tara comes in and tells her to have faith.
Veer and Dheer are also there, watching helplessly.
Kalika says there is no such thing as faith; they just need to prepare for Nahar's death.
They challenge her and she tells them that she has the papers to the house and she wants them to leave.
Veer reminds her that she will soon be a mother.
She tells them they are very stupid to actually believe she was pregnant, it was a lie.
Veer says he feels like strangling her.
Veer calls her evil and she tells him to get out of her house with his belongings.
Tara says they won't stay with her, they will all leave.
Kalika tells Shama that this is their house.
Shama wants to follow Tara and the rest of the family but Kalika tells her she belongs in the house and not with them.
As they open the door, Narpat is standing there.
Babho asks what he's doing there.
Narpat tells them he read Nahar's story and he wants to know what happened to him.
Shama is looking at Narpat.
Kalika goes to him to ask what he's doing there. She tells him that she has completed her revenge. She drags him inside and tells him to look at the house Saloni owned that now belongs to her.
She also tells him that Saloni will now suffer and Nahar is about to be hanged; Samar and Shubhra are not happy in their homes.
He asks her why she has done all these.
Shama is watching from a distance.
Shocked.
Brajesh, Saloni and Nahar come home with Samar, Ambica, Kaveri, Shubhra, Gaj and Padma.
Kalika is shocked to see Nahar.
Everyone hugs Nahar.
Kalika asks how Nahar got here.
Saloni reminds her about the promise she made to save Nahar, after Kalika confessed to her evil plot.
She tells her that sin never gets you anything.
Kalika tells her to blame her father.
Saloni sees Narpat and runs to give him a hug.
Kalika tells them all to get out of her house.
Shama opens her mouth for the first time and yells “nobody is going anywhere!”
Kalika, hearing her mother talk, is overcome with emotions.
She tells her to look at Narpat he destroyed her all these years and now they are free. She says the devil got all he deserves.
Shama slaps Kalika hard across the face and says it wants his fault; he didn't know she was pregnant.
She goes to beg Narpat for forgiveness.
Kalika calls her mother.
Shama says Kalika shouldn not call her ‘mother’ because Kalika has destroyed so many lives; she would rather have died than give birth to someone like Kalika.
After saying this, Shama is so overwhelmed that she faints.
Ambica goes to beg for Narpat's forgiveness for not allowing him explain.
Saloni tells him they missed him.
Tara apologises to Saloni for listening to others and allowing them use her.
Saloni says she shouldn't ask her younger sister for forgiveness.
Nahar says everything has no effect on Kalika and he will never forgive her.
Saloni says Kalika is still her sister even though she succumbed to evil; her own mother has rejected her and no punishment can be worse.
Kalika, who is now showing signs of remorse, tells Nahar to kill her because she has humiliated them and she doesn't know how she can beg for their forgiveness. She is crying.
She begs a now conscious Shama, to kill her.
She tells them that they're right, hate can't win against love.
They all look at her but no one says anything.
She tells them to say something.
The police arrive, they say Kalika called them.
Kalika tells everyone that she called them to arrest her for Kshitij's murder.
There is shock all around.
She confesses to the murder.
Veer asks what Kshitij did to her to kill him.
She tells them Kshitij came to the house with vengeance too. He never considered Veer as his father and wanted vengeance against Brajesh and Nahar.
She says they were partners. She never thought she would kill but he dishonoured her.
Veer tells her to stop talking because what she is saying is too painful to hear.
The police cuff her and begin to take her away. As she gets to the door, she tells Saloni that her child is alive, she replaced her with a dead child
Nahar and Saloni go to her. Saloni asks where the child is.
Kalika says she doesn't know.
She tells them to check the hospital records and find out where the woman lives.
She begs for forgiveness one more time, and then the police take her away.
Saloni and Nahar are excited that their daughter is alive.
There are hugs all around.
Babho is happy, she thanks mother goddess.
Nahar and Saloni tell the others that they are going to bring their daughter home.
