Mr. Midas, the talent agent, is in his office forming busy.
Bimpe enters.
She introduces herself. He is busy working on his laptop.
He asks her who she is. Bimpe doesn’t know how to answer the question.
He says she has no clue who she is.
The statement sets her off, she tells him that she’s the next big thing.
He asks her what jobs she has done. She lists her viral videos and being a brand ambassador for Parita Hair
He says he will get back to her if she's good enough for his brand to represent.
She gives him a copy of her movie before leaving.
Oris and Maro come to see Brenda at home.
They came so she can decide whose storyline is better. She tells them to go off and make it work otherwise they tender their resignation first thing in the morning.
Shalewa is at Bimpe’s. Bimpe tells her to make her news trend on her social media so that when Mr.Midas can see her work when he checks her profile online.
She says if he takes her on as a client, then she will make Shalewa her social media manager. Shalewa promises to make her trend well tonight.
Telema comes home tired and complaining about Alaba distributors.
She sees Shalewa really busy with her phone and wants to know what she’s up to.
Shalewa says she's trying to make Bimpe trend online for Mr. Midas.
Telema who has been a sceptic even since she heard about Mr. Midas, tells Bimpe to be careful
Today is the premiere of Philip’s movie about his father’s legacy.
Philip enters the venue with Yaya. They take some photos then Harriet approaches them with her microphone. She asks how Yaya feels, knowing everyone will be raising their eyebrows at her being a Guardia.
Trust Philip to tell her off.
Sheila arrives with Reuben. Harriet asks if he's her boytoy. Sheila ignores the question and walks past Laide, who is standing with Dikibo and Dr. Gyang and seething with rage.
Laide looks could kill
Amaka notices the look and Laide’s face so she walks up to her and tells her to just pretend.
Laide tells Amaka to get away from her. She walks up to Sheila and tells her she ought to be ashamed of herself for soiling Fred’s legacy.
Sheila tells her off.
Laide asks if Sheila will send a murderer from her family to deal with her.
Amaka tries to rein Laide in but Laide says she’s not done with them yet.
She walks off in a huff.
Yaya feels a tap on her shoulder. She turns to see the thorn in her flesh, Richard.
Angela is with Brenda at the police station.
Angela says she wants to request for Masters’ body.
She wants to have it cremated so she can keep the ashes.
Sankey says they can't release the body till after investigations.
Telema is trying to talk to Bimpe about showing theri movies in Cinemas but Bimpe is busy with her phone.
Telema asks if Bimpe is hearing her.
Bimpe says , to be homest, the whole marketing and distribution thing is not her scene. She tells Telema to handle it and just give her her share when the money comes.
She says she only did the movie to showcase herself as an actor.
Telema is still trying to comprehend what she just heard .
Bimpe gets a call from Mr. Midas, requesting for a meeting
Bimpe tells Telema about the meeting which and how important it is.
Telema asks if what she is saying is not important. Bimpe tells her to continue with her marketing strategy while she goes off to her meeting.
Bimpe dashes out of the flat.
Yaya asks Richard what he's doing at the premiere. He says he's a guest.
She begs him and says her family is around.
Philip comes looking for her. He sees Richard and they greet each other in their usual friendly manner, the he takes Yaya away.
Oris and Maro are working on their stories in the office and arguing. Oris says he's been working for long time at Odyssey but Maro just came and is taking the shine.
Maro says the sky is big enough.
They call a truce and agree to work together.
Angela gets home. Sad. Picks up her phone and calls Maro, saying she needs company.
Maro says she has to finish a synopsis at the office so she will not be able to make it.
Philip and Yaya get home. He points out that Yaya was quiet throughout.
Yaya says she's tired.
He asks if Tessa told her what she thought of the movie. Yaya says she didn't talk to her.
Philip is excited about the movie so he keeps talking about it but Yaya, who is dealing with a lot and hormonal, is not in the mood.
She tells Philip to shut up because there are other more important things than his stupid film!
Philip is too shocked to respond.
Bimpe gets to Mr. Midas’ office and says she knew he would call after seeing her movie.
The cocky man says her work isn't that great but she has great potential. If she lets him, he will make her a star.
He informs her that he will be away for a week working on a movie in Hollywood..
Bimpe being who she is, asks if there is any role available for her in the Hollywood movie.Mr. Midas tells her she’s not quite ready yet but in 6 months he will ensure that she is.
He welcomes her to the Midas Agency.
Reuben and Sheila are at her place..
He's wondering why she took him to the premiere. She says she wanted him there.
He thinks she took him there to make a statement.She
She asks what he means
He says she called him on short notice so he thought so he thought that was the reason.
She says she didn't make up her mind till late in the day.
Reuben says he's embarrassed because she used him; he's good enough for false pretence but not good enough to be her husband..
Sheila says she thought he understood.
He tells her to lose his number because he's tired of being taken for granted.
Brenda hears a loud bang coming from her kitchen. She calls out to John to ask what he has broken.
Fabian comes out of the kitchen and Sheila quiclkly dials Sankey on her phone.
Fabian slaps the phone off her hand but Brenda still manages to shout so Sankey can hear her. She says Fabian is in her house and Sankey should come immediately.
Fabian says she made a wrong move.
